Neat story
Feb. 25th, 2006 02:23 pmQuite a neat story, with cameos by Tom Thomson as a spirit guide, the Hamilton Psychic Fair, and a supernatural bureaucrat.
And now Marvel is saying "We'll bring back Alpha Flight", only I'm sure it'll be like the time Aquaman started the JLA in Detroit with the break dancing kid. Only we'll get it set in Thunder Bay with a squeegee kid.

From here (http://www.absoluteastronomy.com/reference/justice_league): In 1984, in an attempt to emulate the success of DC's most successful comic, The New Teen Titans (The New Teen Titans: the teen titans (also the new teen titans, the new titans, and the titans)...

This move was highly unpopular with readers, who dubbed this period of time the "Justice League Detroit (Detroit: The largest city in Michigan and a major Great Lakes port; center of the United States automobile industry; located in southeastern Michigan on the Detroit river across from Windsor) " era. Created by Conway and artist Chuck Patton, the team was eventually disbanded by writer J.M. DeMatteis (J.M.
