Woke up and the body pretty much said "look, we BOTH know you don't want to go to work today."
Showered. Body said "see? Shower doesn't help!"
Fed cats. Body said "Look, if you feel this shitty after feeding your housepets, maybe you need a break."
Shaved. Body said "Fuck, you're really going to do it, aren't you? You're actually going to crawl up there, eat your cereal, and drag me into work so you can get hollered at for 8 hours by the goofs who lack the capacity to read their own mail, aren't you?"
At which point I said, no, I just don't want scalp stubble on Wednesday, called in, and went back to bed.
