After the strange discussion of Six String Samurai earlier this week, I find a random LJ (moop2000) at the bottom of my My LJ page linking to the web page of the The Red Elvises.

I don't know if that's close enough to qualify as synchronicity or not, but it's amusing.

Whatever you think of the film, you must admit The Red Elvises kick seven shades of ass (African, Asian, Hispanic, Caucasian, Venusian, Saturnian, and chartruse.)

My dad, when we first saw the movie on Cinemax, immediately went out and got the soundtrack. It's pretty awesome, honestly, and for me one of the best parts of the film (the CD includes bits from the Wolfman Jack imitator that's just hilarious.
