The Ambush Bug mini-series and DCP appearances are some of the funniest shit in human HISTORY.

Hell, they even wrote a DC Heroes Ambush Bug adventure module. Which was ALSO very, very funny.

Hey, did Ambush Bug have a series that abruptly failed after six issues and then vanish completely into obscurity, never to show up again? I don't THINK so! :-)

Although it'd be hilarious if the climax to "Infinite Crisis" was all the obscure DC characters coming out and beating Earth 2 Superman's ass. I mean, Ambush Bug, The Heckler, Air Wave (hey, he showed up), that lame version of Dr. Fate with the knife, maybe a couple of the weirder Clayfaces...and have the team leader be Booster Gold.

That's the twist, man. You know it, I know it. It's Booster's year.

(Either that or, with the death of Blue Beetle, we see Booster become a vicious, dark avenger. Which is frankly more likely considering the DCU these days.)
