But, hey, it's Saturday.
So, remember a few years ago when Andromeda started up? And it didn't suck? And it was kinda fun, and neat, and the character were interesting and the stories were neat and it felt good to watch it?
Well, that didn't last. Eventually, we got the Adventures of Kirkules. But, Robert Wolf, who ran that puppy like a well oiled machine, wrote his own ending.
And it seems strange, you see. Like something vaguely reminiscent of a bad Robert Sawyer novel. But I think I could have dealt with a bit of wonderful strangeness like that, instead of the shallow mediocrity we ended up with.
edit: A Q&A with the author is here.

Date: 2005-11-13 01:38 pm (UTC)No, I pretty much remember Andromeda being a suck-fest from the start. Well, I assume it continued to suck; I watched the first, I don't think I lasted the first half the first season, to be honest.
