After last night's season premiere, the intarwebs are a'hummin. cargoweasel has some thoughts, as does trollprincess, while crankygrrl has opened a case of hate-orade.

I loved the look of the bunker. Damn, a button older than "Return". Nifty.

Apparently, at least according to cargoweasel, the #s make another appearance. trollprincess has an observation on the second patient.

I liked the scratchmarks on the wall. He's been in there a LONG time.
There must be hydroponics or something else, as he seemed to be adding fresh fruit to his shake.

i think it was canned fruit cocktail a la Del Monte. But he is getting supplies of some kind, maybe from the guys on the boat.

Also, I read the hater thread, and honestly if they think this is not answering any questions I'm not sure if they're watching the same show. But new questions open up. Also, it's ten times more coherent and thought out than twin peaks ever was, which is why I'm still glued. :)

I read the hater post too, and cannot take it seriously, as they tout Veronica Mars as something to look forward to.

Veronica Mars is the Nancy Drew for the Grrl Power 21C short attention span/don't like to read types. It's kinda cute, really.

Fans of anything can be like monkeys. Sure, it's cool to watch, but eventually there'll be poo flung.

The cuteness factor totally wore off in one of the (admittedly few) episodes I watched where the bad-ass hispanic tough-guy motorcycle gang showed up wearing helmets. Yeah, that's hardcore. :P
