At the request of [livejournal.com profile] bnddble07.

1. With gas prices where they are, I often lean out of Supercar and laugh, long and hard.
2. I want to rent a clown costume, get some makeup, and drive around in Supercar, flipping the bird to people.
3. In high school, I watched Die Hard almost every day.
4. I have been reading Wicked for almost six months. I've finished three other books in that time.
5. I'm disappointed my position is over, but at least I have a job.
6. I haven't donated blood in over 4 years. I used to do so regularly.
7. I need a raise.
8. I haven't gone on a real run since the first time. It's all strolls with the wife.
9. I have a really, really good fish n' chip restaurant around the corner from my work. The temptation to go there for Poutine every day is maddening.
10. I can hold a grudge a surprisingly long time. I'm probably pissed off at you RIGHT NOW.
11. No, seriously. I've been angry at [livejournal.com profile] muskrat_john for five years because he felt Bunnies and Burrows Down Under was too vague a "Games that should not be made" concept.
12. That's why they call me [livejournal.com profile] thebitterguy.
13. I haven't published a Bitter Guide in almost four years.
14. I've promised to loan [livejournal.com profile] mcdfpei two RPG sourcebooks: One of the best ever, and one of the worst ever.
15. The cats are fascinating creatures that hate all humanity. They wake me in the morning by attempting to eat my toes.
16. I wept like a little child at GX when [livejournal.com profile] eyebeams gave me his gift.
17. I have yet to play a game of Star Wars miniatures, but I do have an AT-ST now.
18. Summer is now over, because we're out of Iced Tea mix.
19. I wish I'd been able to BBQ more this year.
20. The lawn needs a'mowin.

Die Hard is a great movie. You have nothing to be ashamed of.

6. I haven't donated blood in over 4 years. I used to do so regularly.
I've given blood 10 times since I've come of age. If you add that to all the blood that my sister has donated, along with any friends I've been able to goad into coming with me, it comes to 18 units. That's enough blood to fix one gunshot wound.
If I give blood every two months for the rest of my life I might be able to cover one busy weekend in Toronto. Grr, sometimes I just want to shoot people who want to shoot people.

9. I have a really, really good fish n' chip restaurant around the corner from my work. The temptation to go there for Poutine every day is maddening.
There used to be a Joey's Only Seafood right next to my house. It's not what I'd call great fish and chips but every Tuesday they had all you can eat for $7. It was as if God Himself had charged me with exterminating all fish- and potatoe-kind.

17. I have yet to play a game of Star Wars miniatures, but I do have an AT-ST now.
What a funny coincidence. My friend Monasin just took two days' pay to the Hairy Tarantula and came back with an armload of Star Wars miniatures and RPG books. He got an Ewok in one of the random sets, which is lucky because our pilot is an Ewok (I imagine that he sits on a phonebook or something).

Not running, but playing in. The much-maligned d20 version. I got the original d20 rulebook at Coles for $10 a few months ago. Logically this inspired our GM to go out and buy the (incompatible) revised edition for $60. Not that I mind - it's his money. :) He now owns a tall stack of Star Wars rulebooks, which contain lots of really neat, geeky stuff.
We have used the lightsabre building guide from the d6 rules.
It's actually a really fun campaign. He's set it in the KOTOR era, probably to minimize the amount of damage we can do to the actual Star Wars continuity. Therefore, we have made it our goal to build a Death Star type weapon and use it to destroy Naboo and Tatooine. Failing that, I plan on freezing our Ewok pilot in carbonite and depositing him on Hoth. You know, just to give the Rebels a little WTF moment.
