On the web site for GeoComTex, the company that owns the Internet, on the Support page, there's a listing for " Node Stabilised (Lupus and Nocens variants)".
Lupus, wolf, Nocens, Evil. Bad Wolf!
Edit: And, as
paolom points out, the support page has a line of MOrse Code that spells out "badwolf".
Tony Walsh seems to think the Bad Wolf stuff is an ARG, but it seems a bit thin for that. Still, enjoyable.
Snra sat me down on the couch on Saturday so we could watch The Dalek Invasion of Earth. This early Television Serial, produced before the invention of colour tvs, detailled... Well... Look, if the title doesn't give it away, you may as well not be reading this.
So, anyway, the Daleks invade Earth. There's some wacky plot, goofy FX, and humanity wins the day. Now, I could sit here all day and say horrible things about it, but it was enjoyable enough. You've gotta wonder at the Doc, though, dumping his granddaughter at some random point in time where humanity has to now rebuild themselves after an alien invasion.
And, as well, he has a granddaughter, so that must settle a few questions.
The text commentary was cool. Lots of neato info on it.
Ah, well. I still mock the fans. Mock, mock, mock.

Date: 2005-06-14 12:21 am (UTC)Yeah, the links to his website seem kinda erratic. Try going here: http://www.secretlair.com/index.php?/clickableculture/entry/doctor_who_argishness_confirmed/
You're not missing much if you can't go.

Date: 2005-06-14 01:38 am (UTC)He acquires his first human companions by kidnapping them, and on their second adventure claims that the "fluid mercury link" is broken, and the only place to get it fixed is that mysterious alien city on the other side of a radioactive forest. Of course, turns out he was lying, and just curious.
Also turns out the city is full of Daleks, but there you are.

Date: 2005-06-14 01:57 am (UTC)Oh, yeah, Doc #1 was quite mad (then again, most of the Docs are in one fashion or another, really, which is what makes them so much fun), especially when it came to exploring/investigating places/secrets.
