It was quick. She's out of pain now, at least.
I'll miss her. She was the best friend a lap ever had. She would strap herself across your chest and purr like a motor boat. She'd wake you in the morning with the roughest tongue you ever met.
Wherever she's gone there's warm bathrobes and crunch beetles galore.
