Anyone know what's happened to Alexi Sayle? I always found him funny n' stuff.

That, and he played the Sultan in Last Crusade, and that was cool.

Once every odd-while that song pops into my head, and I have a little laugh remembering the video, and wonder what hapened to that guy/song/etc., as you never see it pop up on any "We remember the Eighties!" programs or anything.
In fact, until you mentioned it, I was starting to be fairly certain that I was the only person on earth who remembered it.

Does this have anything to do with how you were separated at birth?

He was a regular on The Young Ones back in the early 80s before he got his own show, Alexei Sayle Presents and I've seen him in bit acting parts since then but not much.

He was on Doctor Who. Not the recent Doctor, though.

The last I saw of him, he was a semi-regular on Keen Eddie. Good show, that.

I like a laugh. It's a funny ol' world. :)

My favourite skit is the one about riding on his moped. "I give it 'anful, come roun' the roundabout..."

Yeah I use to see him on those shows too. They were great. ^_^

It's funny because...

That was discussed at one time. He wanted the part.

I read The Dog Catcher. I didn't like it much. The title story was a kind of updated "Bloodflowers". They were bitter stories, but in a kind of spoiled Euro way. Does that make sense?

I picked up Barcelona Plates and I'm about halfway through it. Very enjoyable IMO. Guess I'll steer clear of The Dog Catcher.
Is it just me or do people just run out of creativity between 30 and 40?
