And it's a wrap
Apr. 22nd, 2005 11:28 pmThursday night game terminated last night. Much fun was had by all. GM performed his usual ingeniousness by giving a PC a vision that settled some mis-conceptions.
Admittedly, it turned some of the previous concepts about (What we thought were evil brain stealing parasites were, in fact, actually highly evolved life forms that did indeed wish to share peace and illumination with all peoples), but it ended well.
My PC, the little slinger boy, turned into Will Wheaton's character from Stand By Me (the one who was narrating the thing all along) and he ends up being the author of the histories. And not getting forced into worm hosting.
Which was nice, because when the GM's 'Alpha Worm' voice said "Get the boy alone", well, my gonads retracted.
But, yes. We were victorious over the Prometheans, the gods died anyways, the evil Norse guys killed the noble frost giants, and I lived happily ever after. At least one PC was eternal vulture chow.
