3. Enter your Current Address and the Address of your Childhood Home (or at least the town if you don't remember the exact address)
4. Put the time and distance in a post like this.
5. Don't forget to repost these directions. (Not the door to door ones).

Hm.. Mapquest doesn't like the whole.. different continents thing. Best I can figure is around 3700 nautical miles (from http://www.distances.com/distance.php , Toronto - Hamburg) which would make it around 6580 km

Huh. It took a bit of doing, as the road I used to live on has been renamed. 2 hours, 2 minutes, 99.88 miles, which is probably about right. However, this exercise served to demonstrate how utterly frickin' useless Mapquest is if you want accurate directions. The route it chose to get there is bizarre -- rather than staying on the main highway, it sends you on back roads (some of which, IIRC, are gravel).

See, that's a trip. But jsut because there's a damn ocean in the way. Of course, you do get to go as the crow flies, instead of detouring around Oshawa.

You need to unclick the "Scenic Route" button.
