Had a Dr's appointment this morning. She'd had me take a blood test a few months ago to check my blood sugar levels. My morbid obesity (in addition to my morbid curiosity), combined with strange blood test results had her concerned I might be exhibiting signs of diabetes.

Thankfully, they came in negative. Of course, she wanted me to get one more test, just in case. Sigh.

So off I went. It's a two pronged exam, with a post fast blood test (i.e. I ate no breakfast, because I knew she'd do this), a high glucose drink, and another blood test. So I am berry, berry hungry today.

Gonna try to arrange a lunch today, or maybe a highway test drive for the new car.

Dude, those high glucose drinks are deeeeeeeesgusting (I had the testing done when I was preggers, as part of a study). Gack. You have my sympathy. Glad things are negative so far, and I trust they'll continue to be so.

Test drive? Woo! Any word on how the Smart Car's supposed to handle in the snow?

It is desigend for northern Europe, so I figure if it's good enough for Finland, it's good enough for me!

The drink was really just super-sweet Minute Maid soda.
