Yep. Went to WWE.com and cast my ballot for Taboo Tuesday.
Yeah, sure, I'm not gonna WATCH it, but, dammit, I had to do my duty as a Canadian.
Rick Mercer started up again tonight. Still not as strong as when he was the lead on the great 22 minutes ensemble, but, dammit, they did a piece on the Smart Car.
Ah, well.
Oh, yeah: went to see Team America on Sunday. What a great movie. Rather upset they left Canada out of it entirely this time (I mean, hello, we DROVE their last movie), but overall, one of the best action films this year.
America. Fuck, yeah.

Date: 2004-10-19 02:55 pm (UTC)However, watching him try to rip off John Stewart for fifteen minutes is just... embarassing. Monday Report definitely has a lot more lows than highs.
(And I give the Smart segment a tentative "high").

Date: 2004-10-19 07:58 pm (UTC)Studio bits seem somewhat forced. I do concede that he's better as an ensemble than solo.
He just moved to TO so he could get married, anyway.
