That's rather disappointing. I took the little test at political compass.org(which would be so much more popular if they added a little "cut and paste this!" thingy into it). It turns out I'm pretty much a Libertarian Leftist.

Looks like I'm in step with Tony Benn, but I have NO idea who that is.

Tony Benn appears to be a British politician. I'm a Libertarian Leftist too which puts us in each other's company and with Mahatma Gandhi.

Tony Benn was a Labour MP during the 1950s and 1960s. Then, he became a speechwriter for Prime Minister Harold Wilson. He was, or so I understand it, a fairly reasonable sort for a Labourite, being willing to accommodate socialism to reality, however oxymoronic that might sound.
