So, Snra, [livejournal.com profile] redeem147, Uday & I went off to Greektown to enjoy aTaste of the Danforth. Uday and I had a great time, due to ancient ethnic hatreds between ourselves and the filthy Greeks.

(Hey, did you hear Greece is putting together a space program? They plan to send a probe to Uranus!)

Yes, yes, juvenile at best, but still better than that damn Bouzouki music.

Anyway, as is standard at TotD, we wandered the street, eating food and drinking water. As is NOT standard, it rained like a MoFo. I got wet. Very wet. In fact, when we returned to Ed's to rest after the Danforthing, I actually tossed my shirt into the wash to dry. Cotton holds water, you know that?

It was the usual standards at teh festival, roast corn, souvlaki, little quails (this is what happens, I quip, when you fail the republicans), and pad thai.

Well, it IS a very multicultural city. Picked up a possible Christmas gift for someone, but I need to find out if they have it yet.

The evening was The Village, which was shockingly expensive (you get spoiled going to the AMC). Overall, enjoyable. [livejournal.com profile] rentagurkha joins the "guys who ruined movies with ill thought comments" club, along with Mr. Cranky. At least Cranky gave me a warning.
Bastard. Hope he gets Montezuma's revenge.

Anyway, I'll say nothing other than to say it was enjoyable, and if I didn't know how it was going to end... Well, relaly, I can't say anything about what would have happend if I didn't know the ending.
