Since I've already taken care of my democratic duties, and since I've got next Tuesday off, I've signed up to be an electoral information officer or something similar at a polling station in Halton next week. I'd been under the impression that it would just require me to point people in the right direction during the voting day.
Apparently, there's more to it than that. There's a lot of that, but there'll also be a lot of claiming records of voting from the voting officers, sorting them, and keeping them for the candidate's scrutineers to examine.
Ah, well. Should be pretty straightforward, in any case.
Today is the Thanksgiving luncheon here at work, so it's turkey and mash for all! Huzzah!
