Has anyone else been finding there's some... Issues with LJ loading? If I'm not using the iMac at home, my Friends page tends to load slowly at best, which is awkward. Using the downstairs PC at home I get a note that there's a script making the page load slow, and would I like to cancel it?

Last night's was [livejournal.com profile] mr_weasel's bachelor party. I was leaching a ride off of [livejournal.com profile] pyat, and we drove down and met up with the group at Hernando's. It's odd, having a stag on a weeknight; you shouldn't have to think "friend's last night of freedom, get up in one piece in the morning". Since the finale of the evening was at some hoity toity pool hall (seriously, they have a dress code. A pool hall. With a dress code. Dah fah?), instead of one of the many local entertainment venues, I took advantage of [livejournal.com profile] pyat's desire to not have the interceptor turn into a pumpkin at midnight and we headed off to Milton, [livejournal.com profile] nottheterritory tucked snugly in the trunk.

We dropped [livejournal.com profile] nottheterritory off at home, and motored down the 401. There were a bunch of traffic issues in the express lanes, which we avoided by sticking to the collectors. [livejournal.com profile] pyat got me back to Milton, and I banged on the door for Cynra to let me in.

Of course, she didn't answer, so I called (Thank God for cell phones) and she came down to let me in; she'd gone to bed a bit early. I figure I could have gotten the key from the lockbox, but that would have required work.

I picked up Buffy # 6 (Brian K Vaugh writes about Giles & Faith) and something else. Ah, man, what the hell's happened to my memory. I still missed this week's She Hulk. Maybe G33kdom will have it.
