A good day

So, Cynra & I went out today to do stuff together, as is traditional for a holiday. We eschewed picking up SuperCar from the dealership (it had to go in for a hose tightening and a sealing on another hose).

The dealership called me twice telling me they needed my radio's activation code. Unfortunately, I don't have my raidio's activation code; I'm pretty sure it's in the documentation envelope, but the service rep said she looked through it and couldn't find it.

Ah, well. In any case, we left for Niagara Falls for the butterfly conservatory. Not as good as the one at the biosphere in Montreal, but it was nice to experience a warm, humid room again. It was so nice today I left my jacket in the car the whole day.

Afterwards, we went to Niagara on the Lake, did some shopping, and had lunch. Cynra had a quiche, and I had a shephard's pie and a Red Baron. Tasty, and reminded me that I need to drink more beer.

We drove back up to Guelph to grab dinner from Simplicity Meal Solutions. I got the Mexican Meat & Rice casserole, which was tasty, although I did add a little chipotle sauce to it.

And to top the day off, we're watching a happy story about evil people getting killed.

But you can alway count on [livejournal.com profile] nihilistic_kid to bring the goods. He does a review of The 300, and by "does a review of " I mean "does a number on". Bless his black little horror writing heart.

He also links to this article about the film.
