1) Where did we meet?

At a rehersal for a play that was being held at Toronto Trek. I think you were managing, and Cindy was playing a fangirl and they'd mis-cast Ellison terribly. It was a weird show.

2) what is the best thing about you-tube?

Tough, because tehre's so much AWESOME about You-tube. The sheer variety of neat stuff they keep on it is great, and the versatility (like something? Post it to yer blog!) and that it can settle arguments.

3) what book are you currently reading?

The Scar by China Mieville. Of course, that means I have it with me, but haven't yet begun it. Everyone loves his stuff so much so I figure it's got to be good. I haven't read Perdido Street Station yet, so hopefully I'm not ruining it for myself.

4) What food do you find the most disturbing?

Unprocessed avacado. The texture is just a wee bit off. Once it gets all smushed it's delightful.

5) What is your favourite part of the day?

Five thirty. You remember the openning of The Flintstones? That's me. Yabba dabba do!

Oh, what a day. After two weeks of family commitments, game is off tonight because A) the weather outside will be frightful, and B) I game with slackers. SLACKERS! All "I have school/work/relationship stuff to do, wah wah wah". Dammit, that only works when I can't make it. We have a planet to destroy/save! Also, this means I will not get my roti this week, or see [livejournal.com profile] papajoemambo

Cynra & I had dinner at The Grand Bombay, a wonderful Indian place in Mississauga. We had a Mumbai Rani Platter
(two kinds of chicken, seekh kebabs and prawns) along with a serving of tikka masala. We left stuffed & satisfied. Very nic decor, too. I heartily endorse it.

We got home, and she started working on some report cards stuff. Unfortunately, that meant she was also going to be working on the computer, so I had nothing to distract me when she put on BSG. So I hopped to the basement and huddled in the office for the next hour or so. The new windows do make a significant difference in the house, at least in the smaller rooms. Of course, by the time I got upstairs for Lost, I was late and she'd forgotten about while watching the new Medium. Freaking American Idol is ruining everything for everyone.

It's looking UGLY out there. I want to leave work but they won't let me.

Two part interview with Peter Mohan, the showrunner on Blood Ties.

Part one.

Part two.

I'm also very, very excited that Danny Trejo will be appearing on the show, as he is, in act, Airwolf.

I didn't get to post about it, but Cynra & I took in Music & Lyrics on the weekend. A RomCom where the girl gets Andrew Ridgely? Sure, why not.

The one-hit that Grant's character did is spot on. It is, in fact, stuck in my head RIGHT NOW, no matter when you see this.

It was also amusing that the trailers included next month's Drew Barrymore RomCom.
