And I've got the feeling that fun would be to play... Sheryl Crow, the RPG.

God, it's late and THIS is the kind of stuff I find.

Kill me.

Hey, kids! You remember how, in previous years I had missed Kingston's Chili Festival (which I had hoped to use as basically an excuse to go back to the old town, wander down limestone walled streets on crisp fall days and reminisce)?

Well, let's make it three for three.

While I'd thought it was this current weekend, I found out last weekend that it was actually the first weekend of the month.

Shazbat.

I really like chili, too. So much.

While at Ancestral Casa Bitter last weekend, Snra & I took in the second annual Taste of Prince Edward County. Enjoyable, again, with lots of foods to try. Many places did not repeat, such as the native cooking place and the place that had the chocolate fountain.

Do recall how I was robbed of poutine by a grayhair charging in front of Snra in the potato line.

Fucker. He'll get HIS.

In all, the experience was interesting. The barn-like attatchment to the main fair building was used for cooking lessons.

Apparently, convention dealers aren't the only people who are shitheads when they think no one's listening; it must be a general human state for people behind tables.

The local tavern did a booth with pub fare, but they were well sold out by the time we got there. They handed me a flyer, which was less than useless. I wonder if attendance was lower this year? Unlike last year, they didn't have the writeup in the Star's food section to attract far ranging foodies.
