Odd weather yesterday. Came out and the car was coated in very light/fluffy snow, for which I'm grateful. The heavy stuff is tough to clean off, while this could be taken off with a leaf blower.

Sunday night was Royal Rumble at Creighton's. In a fit of tough mindedness, he decided that last year's egregious "send 'em in when we feel" policy would not do, and sent a letter to the WWE threatening legal action (a class action lawsuit) if they did not follow their guidelines (one wrestler every two minutes). So they changed the guidelines. Sneaky bastards.

The show was enjoyable. R2D made dinner for noizangel and myself. Eggplant w/ tomatoes & cheese was good, as was the sausage in a beer roux. The desert, a creamsicle jelly with chocolate chips and pear halves was pretty much just divine. I threatened to beat the recipe out of him, but he just caved.

The PPV was good (the Rumble, as always, is a thing of joy) and bad (I've never seen anyone knock themselves out with a superkick applied to someone else).

We watched Stunt C*cks afterwards, but were too tired to laugh.

Crap.

I just realized this Sunday is the Superbowl. And since geeks usually don't watch American Football, what a perfect day to hold a Game Day. With chili and chips n' Credo.

And there's no time to plan it. My timing sucks.

BTW: anyone who's interested in another HALO lan party, lemme know. We're planing another for the spring.
