This is pretty much perfect for my level of maturity.

We did drop off two boxes of books at the Merrill. The librarian/archivist on duty was pleasantly surprised to receive them.

A copy of Finding Nemo was picked up. We skimmed some of the Special Features on the DVD during dinner (curry, yum!). The best is the virtual aquariums. Quite nice. Good product overall.

Got to see a production of a play called The Maltese Bodkin, about a private investigator named Birnam Wood who has to investigate his partners death, while various ugly characters (Iago & Richard the III) are looking for the murder weapon,w hich was provided for him by his partner's client.

It was a cool idea, although there were bumps in the excecution. I liked the portrayal of Wood as a straight noir detective in Elizabethan England (although why Dr. Strange was in it I have NO idea).

Although, if I ever run a game of a similar type, the McGuffin will be a Maltese Falchion.

Hmmm. Is it McGuffin,or MacGuffin?

Snra. Bitter and I, somewhat starved for information on the upcoming (i.e. Monday) municipal elections, decided to check out mississauga.ca for details. You know what we found?

No one's running for city counselor in our ward. Well, someone is RUNNING, but No One is running Against Them. WTF?

Hazel's opposition is a lunatic pothead and some Desis. I don't think I'm even gonna fucking vote. It's sad. I live in some kind of suburban fief.
