Nice and Greeked up
Aug. 9th, 2003 09:35 pmWent to visit Taste of the Danforth today w/ Snra Bitter & the Fabulous Mrs Z (and the ever enthusiastic Mr. Z).
Had some greek food, wandered along, got watermelon and bruschetta (which was a bad idea, because bruschetta just don't stick together as you stroll). The best part was a place that gave you a souvlaki on a pita and let you fix it with onion, tomato, coleslaw and djejuk. Yum.
Sure, it was always painful to surround myself with throngs of my Hellenic arch-nemeses, but they will get theirs. Oh, yes.
Finally got some sun on my head (hopefully I won't have the wan gamer look any longer), which is good. Almost got coppertoned, but stopped it at the last minute.
Neil Gaiman will be coming to TO at end of month to sign. This is good; I love Gaiman's work (and regret that my 'syndication limit' prohibits me from reading his blog on here), regardless of what
maliszew says. I will get my copy of Good Omens signed. Yes, I will, my precious.
Hey, how do I boost that darn syndication limit?
Damn. I kinda wish we were doing Karaoke tonight. I'm feeling funky. As opposed to just, you know, smelling it.
