So tired, so very, very tired
Jul. 31st, 2003 07:37 pmWell, made it to Sars-a-palooza last night. Good show (from what I heard), although I had to pay some heavy personal prices.
I forgot to remove my flask. Although it was empty, it violated some rule or another. The 'dickhead at the gate' went to see if I could bring it in.
Now, I would have been more than happy to go back to Wilson station, hand it to a TTC agent, and call today to get it back. But no. The rent-a-cops at the gate instead refused to give it back to me, telling me it had been 'confiscated'.
Da Fuck? Confiscated? I haven't even gotten into the fucking event yet, you law & security diploma dropout!
I asked, can I give you a card and pick it up later? No.
So, essentially, some retarded motehrfucker stole my anniversary present. This upset me greatly. Snra Bitter was also upset, and is going to be tracking down the mofo BAMN.
The show was good. I missed all but the last song by Rush, but AC/DC & The Stones were, well, worth every penny (even factoring in 'shrinkage').
I shall now endeavour to see more rock concerts.
Anyway, we got home around 2:30 (we walked to Finch from Downsview & took a cab to Laurie's car as we were footpained from sloggin'). I had to work today.
Ah, well. So now, I'm tired.
