Hey, BG, what you been up to?

Nice weekend. Did skip the pizza, and didn't in fact eat a decent meal at all this weekend (and, oy, has mah belly been happy to remind me).

Yesterday, I puttered, picked up some cereal for Snra Bitter & also Knights of the Old Republic, which is quite enjoyable to date. Also dropped by Casa maliszew to complete a transaction. Padded out my Judge Dredd books, as well as picking up another Mongoose book and Forbidden Kingdoms, which has some serious issues with layout.

Quick clue to the assembled masses in the industry: When describing a character class whose abilities include bonus feats, make sure you list that they're bonus feats and not just abilities you excluded. It makes you look bad.

Overall, though, satisfying transactions. Got to kibbitz with maliszew and discuss some of the finer points of the industry. Offered to kick wickedthought in the ghoulies for him at GenCon, but he declined.

Came home n' played KOTOR until 2:30. Fun. Had fries n' strips for dinner.

Had some folks over for a BBQ today. There was the Sleemans and burgers and much Halo played. mr_weasel brought an associate of his, Charles, over. Charles is very very good at the FPS games. One of those guys who's so good that, really, you don't want to play him after a while.

Blood Gulch is good for four, but that's gotta be a great level for 8. Played another one with ice and snow that was also fun. We forgot to play a Tank level. Damn.


Overall, enjoyable by all. pyat had to depart fairly quickly, which is a shame.
Gord Rose came over as well. Got to kibbitz with him a bit after the rest of the gents departed.

Snra Bitter returns tomorrow (man, I've missed her. You never realize how much you take a person for granted until they're in Tampa). I have dental surgery at 10:30, so that's five hours to recover from anaesthetic.

Enjoyable. Guess I'd better make the bed now.
