Got to talk to the HG today over the celly.

Let me tell you, that guy is a peach. I mentioned that I was driving, and he goes "Oh, I wouldn't want you to get into an accident or anything!", and signed off with "You take care, now".

Lemme tell you, he projects the folksy geniality that was such a part of The Mayor so well that he either IS that way, or is the world's best actor.

Man, I'm gonna go watch Graduation day all over again.

Finished Oryx & Crake today. Man, Margaret Atwood may be an idiot, but she's a great writer. The ending was not to my liking, but that's because I'm a pussy. Great story overall, though. Recommended reading for any Gamma World fans.

The lights went out in half of the South Common mall while I was there. Apparently their cash registers are battery powered for half an hour. As I was wrapping up my shopping, I got told to move it, as they'd run out of power in 15 minutes.
