Happy Canada daaayyy
Jul. 1st, 2003 11:42 pmSo, after I slaved for ungrateful Yank callers all the live long day (we wished the most obnoxious of our callers a "happy Canada Day", which truly lacks the majesty of "Dominion Day", BID), made my way home, picked up the wife, and headed to dinner with the folks at Jerusalem. Nice place. Good buffet. Jesus, I'm gonna bust.
Met up with Laurie Brown for fireworks afterwards. After ditching Confederation Park (in the words of Ian, the fireworks were 'Ghetto'), we headed to the lakeshore to one of the parks by the lake. Very nice down there. Reminded me of a Rush song.
Good to be alive. Looking forward to Friday, when we'll take in 3 summer movies. Ahhhh.
