Took a walk on break today. Good lord, it was gorgeous outside.

We put up with six months of shit so we can appreciate this. That's all I gotta say.

Buffy game went well on Sunday. It seems that the players want to play again, so I kind of regret tossing every red herring out the window. A third session might have worked.

Used Sweeps Week from the core rulebook. There are some quibbles with it (like how to handle White Hat PCs who go somewhere where Bad Guys are without the Slayer), but overall it's fun.

Now I have to figure out how the hell I could run a Buffy game set in Kingston.

The characters include A Slayer, A Watcher, a guy with an Axe, a hockey player, and Xander. Okay, not Xander Xander, but the 'scooby gang member'.

Stuff I did Saturday

Went shopping with Snra. Bitter. Helped her do some of her Report grade calculation. It went okay. In fact, this has been the calmest report card in our history.

Missed meeting adamjury's ladyfriend Sam, as I couldn't make it into Guelph due to the aforementioned mark calculations. I did sneak out about 8'ish to head to my cousin Sheriff's birthday party. Enjoyed it. Ate cake.

Amusingly enough, while speaking to Sheriff, he mentioned he envied my owning an Xbox (he owns a PS/2) because I can play Halo. I had just finished envying his PS/2 because he could play GTA:VC. It's amusing.

Sunday Cindy went to play Buffy on the XBox and noticed that we hadn't reutnred Indiana Jones. Fuck. It wouldn't have been so bad if, for example, we'd actually gotten to play it in the intervening days instead of accumulating late fees at random.

At least the nice man at Blockbuster was kind enough to cut them in half. That is SO going in to the tax envelope.

I have taken to playing Halo in the past couple days. Apparently they drop off an ATV for me to ride in at the level I was annoyed at. Here I thought my mission was to just stay there and get shot at for hours on end.
