A) Smackdown Murmur, cause I'm too tired to rant and too fuzzy to report.
Smackdown: was fun. The Lesnar/Polumbo match was surprisingly good, until Undertaker caused pain. The tag matches were good. The warm up tag match with Bull Buchanan, some guy in red tights and two grads of Jobber U was not so good.
Sweet God, it was like everyone was out getting beer.
I was up in the "seats so cheap you'll feel ripped off". I paid $46 + convenience fee. This allowed me to get a nosebleed and be pelted with ice and Nibs (the entire front three rows was in an uproar over the rain of snack foods). I figured we'd be on the floor, at least. Within viewing range. But no. Fucking nosebleed section. The air was so thin fires could not burn.
As I mentioned, the three tag matches were the best. One mixed gender one had the best setup for a stink face ever (okay, that says not too much, but Rikishi's presence live is rather more impressive than it is on TV). I almost feel sorry for Matt Hardy.
And the Noble/Nidia match had a happy ending. Isn't it sweet when love prevails?
They showed the Kid Rock video at the beginning, and it got some of the biggest pops of the night. Brett Hart, Andre, Owen, Hulk Hogan, and The Ultimate Warrior. Roddy Piper, too.
Anytime anyone was Canadian, it was like they had instant heat. So, yeah, I guess Natural 20 had a point there. We even cheered a Cheryl Crow song because it was playing over footage of Trish cavorting in the sand. Then again, maybe we weren't cheering the song.
On the down side, Hooters is a bar, so we had to skip wings afterwards because the friend's son I went with is not yet 19.
Oh, yeah: Smackdown tag championship will be Edge/Mysterio vs Angle/Benoit.
B) Christ, I've forgotten now.
