A couple weeks ago, when we were abusing my parents Central Air (sweet sweeeet central air) we headed up to Ottawa and back down to Kingston. Sra. Bitter, being as frugal as ever, decided she wanted to go to a movie.
So, we find out that there's a drive-in in Kingston. We check it out. They've got a double bill of Signs, Reign of Fire and Bad Company.
We didn't stay for Bad Company.
The food section was okay. The poutine was edible, and I didn't get to try the pizza.
Signs was a good flick. Very atmospheric, very fun. Afterwards, I scared the wife to death with an ice cream cone.
Reign of Fire was big, dumb fun. There were dragons, there were guys with jump gear, there were guns. It had a beat, and you could turn it into a GURPS supplement. I give it a 97.
