May. 30th, 2002 11:16 pmYou know, I've spent exactly 2 days this week actually doing work. Monday was CS Refreshment, and Thursday & Friday have been further training.
Shame I'm considering leaving. I've noticed that I"m not terribly enthused about working as a CSR. The constant harrying is annoying enough, but my cow-orkers... There's something off about them. They're primarily female and boring, for one thing. The whole Venus/Mars thing is just amplified when they lack a vital geek co-efficient (No, Virginia, he doesn't know what that means, does he?).
So, since MS has decided to start up their Canadian call centre here in Mississauga, I've decided to give it a try.
I did have to think about it a while. Current Employer offers a fair bit of promise. There's the possiblity of advancement, good benefits, and pension and stock options.
Then I thought for a second. Oh, wait: Microsoft.
Ah, well. We'll see.
