Apr. 28th, 2002 01:34 amWell, that was fun. EXCEPT FOR THE FOOD POISONING!
Went down to Orion with Pete yesterday. Got to do a great interview with the president of a major RPG company that'll be part of a story for GU in the fall.
It's great. Part Geek, Part Journalist. He is.. The Bitter Guy!
And I love extra beer money.
The other interview fell through, so that kind of sucked. And afterwards, after Pyat & I went down to the Merrill to visit the Pulp show (finally got a copy of Deathbird stories! Yay!), we went for Burger Thing. And I got sick.
Thankfully, when I got home I was able ot rest, and had a huge belch that cleared thigns up fairly nicely (unlike those little bile-filled belches that had me rolling down the window and sticking my head out while he did 80 (American) on the QEW.
While downtown, I found that discussing Civ games in public is a bad idea (hey, let's discuss my current difficulties with Mao while walking through Chinatown! It's not like there are hundreds of ACTUAL CHINESE PEOPLE STANDING NEXT TO ME!). Mea Culpa, Pyat, and I hope the limp is only temporary.
