Feb. 25th, 2002 09:39 pmI'm tired. I've gotten to this point where apathy may be too strong a term to describe how I feel about things in general. I go through life tired and irritable. And I'm married to a fucking TEACHER!
I don't know if any of you are in the same situation (Wait. I know that at least two of you are). But this is hell.
It's just a matter of mind numbing stress doled out in three week periods (the weeks leading up to report cards). This is broken up by a few months of low level tension. Then summer comes along. Which is just great, if you don't mind the fact the main breadwinner of the family is now unemployed (and, hey, teachers can't collect any sort of compensation while unemployed!).
That, and teachers get the sort of treatment reserved for Jews in 1930s Germany by the current regime.
