Had Game on Thursday, which was fun. One of the PCs has been declared ruler of the city-state, and there are mysterious things going on regarding Salt Mages.

My character took a turn for the sinister this week, and was referred to by a GMC as "that evil midget".

I also got to use the phrase "he has an miniature one eyed monster in his toga!" mr_weasel would be proud.

Last night was a funeral for Jacqui's mom. It was a very nice service. I wish Snra. & I had a chance to get dressed up, rather than attending in work clothes. The Eulogy was wonderfully done.

The reception was lively. I got to see several photos of Jacqui's mom in costume, and read some clippings.

Afterwards, there was dinner. Well, there were appetizers. Snra & I shared nachos & some buffalo chicken, which was actually quite dissapointing. The Medium sauce was like Taco Bell sauce, and it was mostly skin. Ah, well.

Atkins dieters are evil, folks. They will eat all your meat.

I don't think she cared a bit what you were wearing. She was touched that you were there.

It was a nice service. And it sounds like my chili was hotter than your wings.

But the company at supper was more important than food, anyway :)

I'm doing a form of Atkins but being vegetarian, your meat is safe around me. That didn't sound right, now did it?

At any rate, the manager should have been less concerned with someone eating 12 slices of roast beef and more with the name of his restaurant. The "Chuck-o-rama"? Puh-lease. That would chase me away much quicker than the thought of there being no roast beef. Heck, even if I ate meat I'd be worried about eating anything there.

Well, Chuck is a term for a cut of beef. It hardly seems like a totally insane thing to call a BBQ Buffet place.

I guess so, but for me, the term upchuck is a more common usage of the word so that's what I think when I hear it.

It's in ancient Greece, using the GM's own rules-set. I, personally, only wear wolfskins and a cloak, being a shepherd boy.
