The anniversary was quiet, and respectful. We're rather psyched for next week, as we're Taking some Time for TO. Hotel night, dinner & The Producers Friday.

We did go out last night for Indian at Kismat (a new place on Winston Churchill N of Dundas, but I know no one who reads this would be interested in an Indian restaurant in Mississauga).

Good food, although the paradigm of Indian restaurants providing what SEEMS like a terribly small portion is still hard for me to take. You go to a diner type place, you get a fairly significant serving. The bowl serving (rice/Nan extra) seems a bit strange. Until you take a bite, at which point it generally falls into place.

I do think I'll eschew beef curry in the future. Beef has such a strong flavour that it doesn't let your savour the curry itself. Chicken or prawn, perhaps.

The menu was interesting, aside from the fact it was obviously written by someone who isn't that strong a writer. It seemed to indicate that the food was similar to A) Indian food you could buy in England, or B) the Indian food Englishman who'd served in India wanted to get but couldn't.

Either way, good.

The gift's been played a couple times. I even tried it on Workout level. Hopping burns shockingly few calories. But it is fun. Centring on the pad is a little difficult, so having a spotter is handy.

Came home and watched Samurai Jack. May have to get the first season set. I really adore that show.
