...well, I know I feel a rather smug sense of satisfaction that there will, indeed, be another Batman movie and that it will have Scarecrow and Ra's Al-Ghul. However, I find myself stunned that Michael Caine will be playing Alfred. Alfred! Michael Caine's got the physique of a career boozer and the accent to go with it, and not the prim and refined, dry wit and build of a fencing champion that Alfred should have. Good god.

At least it's not Joel "Neon" Schumacher that's directing. I'd have to request a mercy killing on my behalf.

All I care about is that a good actor is playing him. Really liked him in Last Samurai.

Looks like there's a number of good actors in this film. Bodes well.

Hey, I like Ah-nold as much as the next guy, but when he's the best one in a Batman movie, you know there's trouble. (Oh, and there was).

Frankly, I think y'all are nitpicking awful early. After the last two Batman debacles, ANYTHING is better.

Just keep Akiva Goldsman and Joel Schumacher FAR away from this project.

Chris Nolan is an improvement (let's face it, Terry Gilliam would probably be an improvement) but i don't know if he's going to manage burtonesque darkness.
Apparently Guy Pearce is going to play Harvey Dent...
