Ahh. Sweet, sweet Karaoke. Tonight, we piled into the Green Machine, drove two blocks, and participated in the great sport of kings.

After a great meal (the Chicken Apple Stew was possibly the best it has ever been today; the sauce was perfect, and the spices juuust right) and a good episode of Survivor (although, to be honest, I was kinda surprised; as well, Dave Creighton's capacity to Know is scaring me) we headed to Webs, a local eatery to do Karoake.

Cindy, Pieter, Pieter's wife Erin and I occupied a booth and made people smile.

Well, me, mostly. I did my ever famous rendition of Private Dancer (Page 4, Storyteller's Secrets for Vampire the Dark Ages, first edition), and a few other songs, including a version of Luck be Lady which was way down tempo. I know Guys & Dolls the Musical, not Frank on his deathbed. I closed with American Woman, which is just a classic. God Bless Burton Cummings.

Man, it was fun. Piet even got up and sang Wild Wild Life.

Now, I'm very, very tired.
