I miss Bloom County.

I miss the fact I don't have any of my books anymore (thanks to two brothers who managed to pretty much shred them when I wasn't looking).

I miss Opus. I miss Milo. I miss Hodgepodge & Pourtnoy. I miss the kid withthe big hair who kept waking his dad to tell his weird shit.

I miss the crippled vietnam vet and Steve Dallas, who was just funny.

Damn. I miss it. I almost miss Outland, which was just Bloom County on tranquilizers.

I have all of the books - except the REALLY big one, the one that had just about every single strip in it. I COULD lend you some... what's it worth to you, chumley?

I used to listen to Billy and Boingers while driving my sister's Chevette Scooter in High School. I'd taped the record, you see. I was REALLY cool.

Also, I once had a dream wherein I found Bloom County in the real world (it was in Ohio), and I worked at the Bloom Picayune.

Yep, good ol' Onion. Between them, Scott Kurtz' stalking of him, and Carleton Cards Bill n' Opus line (discontinued), it just whets my appetite a litte.

I wish I could find the books agin', dagnabit.
