She had her dad take her to the range so she could look like she knew what she was doing if she got a role that required it.

That actually reminds me of an idea I had some years back to run "firearms familiarization" courses for actors. I was inspired by watching the filming of an episode of Nikita which, if the guns had been real, would have ended with one of the "tactical team" members doing a TPK on his own team.

Which is all the more amusing, since it is clear that no one has told her how to actually shoot well.

Look at how freely the butt of the rifle moves up and down when she fires. This is because it isn't actually touching her shoulder at all!

This makes the Sergeant in me cry.

Well, I like her in Dr H and "The Guild" ... but I don't know if I'm that familiar with anything else she does. Does she do anything else? (Guest appearances and fans serenading her with the Bad Horse song at comic-con aside).

Those are two of her main things. She was one of the potentials in S7 of Buffy (IIRC, she wore a hat) and is now in the midst of a Sears campaign.

Okay, that last bit isn't quite as exciting.
