thebitterguyJuice came back up in Casa Mohareb about 20 minutes ago.
It may have been up earlier, mind, but the clock was flashing 12:20.
It was a nice night. We BBQ'd some burgers n' dogs n' souvlaki on toasted bread from our local Ukranian bakery. Those Slavs sure know how to bake!
Uhhhh. The Ukraine is a Slavic country, yes?
Power went out at 4ish, we stopped taking calls about 15 minutes later. Everyone was naturally curious, so we just sort of sat around growing irritated. Oddly enough, the only radio coming in wasMojo Radio, where Prince Valiant designer Greg Stafford provided us with the info.
Okay, then, we learned, no Juice from Thunder Bay to Hackensack, to Cleveland in the west, but it ain't the big T (okay, not The Big Evil T, because the true Big T is a source of Joy and Love and Feline Snarkiness).
So we sat in the parking lot for about an hour, and went home. Picked up a pack o' weiners from the local Hasty Market (wish we lived in the states and could merely loot them instead of having to stay in line. Sigh).
Go out for walk, enjoy the night sky. Chat with neighbours. Discover local park not actually haven for dope fiends.
Someone was playing a saxophone atop the local hill. Quite surreal. Quite good, too.
Came home, went to sleep. Read a little Forbidden Kingdoms. Like how skills can actually affect combat abilities. Dislike how they seem to have omitted the info on how to run a Clergyman.
Instructions were to call work for info; work # not working. Suspect this is no work day.
