thebitterguyYou know what I just realized? I don't think I can think of a single film I've seen where the Cavalry arrived to save the day. Okay, the US Cavalry. I've seen The Two Towers and The Lion, the Witch & the Wardrobe.
Can anyone name me some good westerns where this happened? TVtropes.org is as useful as always. And, yes, this means I have not seen Stagecoach.
