Most of the oranges I eat aren't orange colored. They are reddish orange or red.

Reminds me of one of the bits from one of my favorite "new emerging" comedians (from the Daily Show), Dimitri Martin.

(paraphrasing)
"I sometimes imagine the guys that were naming things and were feeling lazy the day they came to oranges, 'Oh I dunno, lets go with 'oranges' and then they picked up a carrot and went 'oh shi- um, long-pointys?'"
