In slightly better news

thebitterguyIn shopping news, I didn't get too much, other than a copy of the Runequest Third Edition (still in its original wrapper!), Paranoia Second Ed (ditto!), and one of the first comics I ever read, plus the first part of the two parter. I also got a couple board games for Cynra's library.
I helped the local Catalyst Commando's find some BT stuff, including one supplement that apparently goes for $150 + on ebay. I should have got that myself.

papajoemambo has having a similar weekend to my own, so we spent a bit of time in commiseration. He also introduced me to Darwyn Cooke, and I managed not to drool on myself.
Cynra spent the weekend working with Brad Dourif (there are some very enthusiastic Chucky fans out there), and took in lunch with him & Michael Rosenbaum.
I did find myself in the most dangerous place in the world: between Peter David and the pizza table*.
I wanted to ask him about the US1 story, but I figured he was busy. I did pick up Stuart Immonen's "50 reasons to stop sketching at cons", then I asked him to sketch Ambush Bug on beautiful French paper.
Today, I have burned my hand on soup. It is rather painful.
