Prime Time Adventure?

X-files or Hero? Absolutely.

But PTA will be better at dealing with the relationship between Mulder and Skinner or Deep-Throat or the Smoking Guy, than whether Mulder is better at perception checks than Scully.

The same is true of Peter and Nathan Petrelli. How do they fly? It doesn't matter, there's no mechanical representation for Flight in the system. Both characters (after a certain point) can fly.

Each session is an episode, and each episode each character gets a certain amount of "face time" (my quotes, I'm going by memory) which largely controls how many dice the characters have to assist them in scene resolution throughout the episode.

Additionally, before and after each session the players all discuss the episode ... so the players sort of have a writer/producer effect on the series as well as playing characters.

For mature players (not concerned with being awesome-gasmically powerful) it's a fun game.

Doug.
