Quick Question for peoples reading this.
Jul. 8th, 2008 03:16 pmQuick question: Who here is going to be attending Toronto Trek/Polaris this weekend?
Yes, this question includes the people I'll be sharing a room with. Any out of town people coming? I was hoping to do some gaming, but then I just chuckled sadly to myself.
Seriously, they used to have a neat gaming corridor, where there were minis games and card games and rpgs. That's where I met
gnaremoob during a B5 demo. Good times. Now they just have some rooms, but nothing scheduled.
Plus, they had the gall to schedule themselves against the Paradise Comiccon. Someone should start a petition!

Date: 2008-07-09 02:15 am (UTC)I'm hoping this is an attempt at sarcasm, Paradise booked after Polaris. Doesn't matter though, both of them are dead in the water anyway.

Date: 2008-07-09 01:30 pm (UTC)The one major draw for me would have been Ellen Muth. I loved Dead Like Me like crazy. Sad its over (but there are movie rumours)
If you see her, tell her she's lucky I wasn't there to embarass myself like a fanboy. I got a level head about meeting celebs and stuff, but she distracts me.

Definitely do paneling, though. It's oodles of fun.
