Hey, I've BEEN to the biggest ball of twine in Minnesota! My daughter and I were in Minneapolis and found out that the town where the biggest ball of twine is (Darwin), was only an hour away. So....being Weird Al fans (and weird in our own right) we just had to go. Actually, there is a bigger ball of twine in the US, but it was made by several generations of a family. The MN ball of twine is the largest ball made by one man. You really wanted to know that, right?

Oh yeah... and Weird Al has actually visited there. They have pictures of him and the twine ball in their little gift shop shack.
