TBG to Amway
May. 28th, 2008 12:07 amI just saw an ad for Amway twice now.
Amway is something I've had a passing acquaintance with over the years. When I was in J-School, I lived with a couple who ran an Amway business.
It seemed to not be doing well, but they always were enthusiastic.
The worst part was the tapes. The business, I'm convinced, exists to get people to buy soap and motivational tapes. Possessed of comedy that isn't funny and motivational messages that wouldn't enthuse Mr. Enthusiasm, they seemed to be there only to get people to think they were doing something by listening to them.
I'm sure that as the king of the MLM industry, it has something that sets it apart.
I, personally, love how it inspired Cobra.
