Halo Day: Halo with a vengeance

terminal_pariah was first to arrive, and last to leave, and I think he may have killed me a few times, too.
Also in attendance wereatomiks, who brought two cousins (ahhh, teenagers), mr_weasel who brought a Dr. Friend of his (who also brought a beautiful TV. Remind me again, why am I not on HD? Oh, yes. Poor) and finally, kinra, who brought two other people who were not as Halo enthusiastic.
The final game was strange, as we played a largish map with 4 people, andandmiss spent much of it riding the large wheel at the middle like an amusement park ride.
We then played a game of Scene It, which I lost tokinra by a mole's whisker. Dammit.
I then crashed on the couch all night, which kind of sucked, since when I woke up I felt a familiar tickle in my throat.
Yes, the strange infection/allergic reaction/voodoo curse that affliced me on day 3 of FanExpo last year had returned. Thankfully, in a much weaker format, so I had no problems breathing/speaking and just had to deal with the uvular swelling and occasional gag reflex triggering it causes.
