I occasionally look over at my Kate Bush boxed set and think "Why do I still have that thing?"

Okay, I don't have a good answer to that question. But after watching S0201 of The Venture Brothers the other day (reruns on Teletoon means we get new ones soon!) I was thinking of her.

Specifically, her song Experiment IV; Jonas mentions he's working on "a sound that kills" for the government, which just made me go "hey, yeah". I did not know that Dawn French, Hugh Laurie and Peter Vaughan appeared in the video (below).

The song was also referenced in a Werewolf supplement (one of many I donated this past year). Ah, killer sounds. Who doesn't love them?

Cool! Peter Vaughan also looks remarkably like George D. Wallace who played older Xander on Buffy in "Hell's Bells". I had to actually look it up to see if they were the same person. LOL.

I wouldn't mind seeing the video in some decent resolution, if only to remind myself what Laurie looked like when he was younger. And to see if that's actually Oldman.

I rather like Kate Bush myself. I also like Tori Amos, Loreena McKennitt, Bjork, Neko Case, etc., despite the fact that the Mrs. calls them all 'wailing women'.

And I'll wrestle Vik for an excuse for that boxed set, too.
